This interactive review program contains a total of 791 frames in 19 sets, averaging approximately 42 frames per set. It assumes you have studied Skinner's ABOUT BEHAVIORISM. The program is a test of recall. It is similar to using a series of flashcards presenting sentences with blanks for you to supply answers. The terminal frame in each set presents your percent correct score with your sign-in name. You may screen copy this frame and provide it to your instructor to verify your performance.

Each of the 19 sets covers a portions of the text in ABOUT BEHAVIORISM. Some chapters are covered by two sub-sets, e.g.. a and b.

Sets build upon each other and you must work through them in serial order. You must begin with the first one and cannot skip any. You must use EXACTLY the same name for each set in order to advance in the series of sets. Do NOT add any spaces before or after your name.

OK, here are some specifics:

Each "set" is a series of screen presentations (called "frames") to which you respond by typing a word or two. Read everything carefully because the program will constantly test your memory as it reviews. This process will require you to ponder a little each time because the program insists that you employ the same terminology as Skinner did.

You will be given 90 seconds to supply your answer(s) to each frame. If you fail to do so, the current frame will fade into a red background and automatically advance to the next frame, reducing your percent correct score. Sometimes you may get the chance to try again. You should not try to text other people, phone, or talk with others while advancing through the program because the program runs with a timer and continues when your attention is elsewhere.

Read ALL words in a frame, as they are often answers to subsequent frames. You cannot go backwards when working through a given set of frames. If you try to do that by using the backup arrow in your browser, you will be returned to the BEGINNING of the entire set of frames.

Exact spelling counts. You may keep a notepad and dictionary handy if you want help with spelling less familiar words.

When you enter your answer, take care to NOT add an extra space after the last word.

After you enter your answer, tap the ENTER key, and if it is correct, a momentary green flash signals that you have responded correctly and have advanced forward. You will see your average correct score increase in the upper left-hand corner of the next frame.

Again, be careful to remember EXACTLY the name you used to sign in the first time you do. Continue to use EXACTLY THE SAME NAME when you advance to the next set in the menu. DO NOT ENTER EXTRA SPACES BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR NAME. DO NOT INCLUDE SPECIAL CHARACTERS (E.G., APOSTROPHES) IN YOUR NAME.

Keep a notepad beside you and mark off each of the sets as you finish it so can you go to the next set when you return to the program.

Now, enter your name or one given to you by your instructor, click on a set number below and experience automated review/instruction of Skinner's ABOUT BEHAVIORISM.
