An apparatus used to study discrimination, especially with rats. The rat is forced to jump from platform to one of two doors on which stimuli are displayed. One door is unlocked, and by jumping to it the rat gains access to a reinforcer located behind it; if the rat jumps to the other door, which is locked, it falls into a net below the doors.
